The Junior Accountant plays a key, hands-on role working with multiple teams across the company to help ensure proper process and procedures are in place; ensuring that financial results are reported timely and accurately. This is a highly visible role requiring sharp accounting skills and business sense.

Responsibilities:

Prepare monthly reconciliations, accruals, and journal entries
Perform timely and accurate monthly closings for the consolidated company
Reconcile operating bank account
Prepare client reporting based on contract requirements, adhering to specific deadlines
Maintain/create documentation of policies and procedures
Work with external auditors
Assist with analysis of financial results and financial preparation
Assist with oversight of the accounting department, provide support and direction to accounting staff as needed
Assist to ensure proper and consistent financial accounting methodology, techniques, and policies are adopted.
Ad hoc financial reports, schedules, projects, duties as required
Drive to grow both professionally and personnally

Requirements:

1 - 5 years of accounting/audit experience
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, required
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, a necessity
Strong organizational, team, and analytical skills
Advanced excel skills, required
Experience with Quickbooks, a plus
Excellent interpersonal skills
Thrive in a culture rich environment
